Betty A. WILLIAMS

Betty A. WILLIAMS, 86, of Fairfield died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory, with cremation to follow.

A private burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Memorials have been established by the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to 1737 Buckeye Ave., Batavia 52533.

Mrs. WILLIAMS was born March 5, 1928, in Warrington, England, the daughter of Jabez WILLIAMS and Nellie NEWNS WILLIAMS. She married Edwin E. WILLIAMS May 9, 1947, in Fairfield.

Mrs. WILLIAMS was a homemaker and cared for her family throughout the years. She enjoyed knitting and making baby hats and donating them to the hospital.

She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include five children: Dorothy WILLIAMS, George W. WILLIAMS, Elizabeth RYSDAM, Diana HOOVER and Christine BENNETT; and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her father and mother; one son James Allan WILLIAMS; two brothers; and one sister.
