Crystal R. GREINER, 28, 1227 23rd Ave., Rock Island, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1992, at Franciscan Medical Center in Rock Island as the result of burns received in a house fire Feb. 2.
She was the wife of John L. GREINER, who was born and reared in Fairfield. He is the son of Joseph and Treva GREINER of Fairfield.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Community Christian Church in Moline, Ill., and at 11 a.m. Monday at New Harmony Christian Church in Curryville, Mo. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery at Curryville. Family visitations will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at DeRoo Funeral Home in Moline and from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Holt Funeral Home in Vandalia, Mo. A memorial fund has been established at Citizens Federal in Davenport.
Mrs. GREINER was born July 10, 1963, in Vandalia, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy COSS MORRIS. She graduated from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. On Aug. 2, 1986, she married John GREINER in Curryville. She currently was teaching in the Rock Island School District and before that had taught in New Ulm, Minn., Omaha, Neb., and Montgomery City, Mo. She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and Missouri State Teachers Association.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Lacie and Lindsay GREINER, both at home; her parents of Curryville; grandparents, John and Grace MORRIS of Curryville, Cloyd and Edna COSS of Vandalia; a sister, Angela DUBACH of Houston and a brother, Mark MORRIS of Fort Myers, Fla.
