Terry J. MESSER

Terry J. MESSER, 61, of 1010 Sunny Lane, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Parkview Care Center.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Henry County Dialysis Department.

Mr. MESSER was born Dec. 5, 1942, in Henry County, the son of Milo and Gertrude DOUGLAS MESSER. He was divorced.

Mr. MESSER lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He graduated form Fairfield High School in 1961. He was a lineman for GTE telephone company for 31 years.

He was an angler, golfer and NASCAR racing fan.

Survivors include his mother, Gertrude LITE of Glasgow; two sons, Terry MESSER of Fairfield and Tim MESSER of Libertyville; two grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and Michael MESSER, both of Mount Pleasant; and one sister, Christine WEINARD of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather.
