Velma 'Marie' BRADSHAW

Velma "Marie" BRADSHAW, 62, 701 S. Sixth St., died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1993, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Grant and the Rev. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery at Abingdon. Family visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Hickory Grove Church of God Holiness.

Miss BRADSHAW was born April 10, 1931, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Joseph Monroe and Sylvia Ellen LAWRENCE BRADSHAW. She was employed as a housekeeper at Parsons College and Iowa Wesleyan College until she moved in with her mother to care for her. She was a member of Hickory Grove Church of God Holiness, northeast of Stockport.

Surviving are a brother, Merl BRADSHAW of Fairfield; two sisters, Margerie DOUD of Batavia, Dorothy MAJOR of Ollie; several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.
