Robert Wayne MONTGOMERY

Robert Wayne MONTGOMERY, 61, of Nelson Nursing Home, died at 3:55 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 1993, at the nursing home.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Open visitation begins Tuesday morning at Raymond Funeral Home. A memorial service has been established to the Special Olympics.

MONTGOMERY was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Fairfield, the son of James C. and Fern Frances FORNEY MONTGOMERY. A lifelong resident of Fairfield, he attended the Suburban Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Betty WORKMAN of Fairfield; two brothers, James R. of Davenport, Paul E. of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews. His parents and a sister, Marie CRABLE, preceded him in death.
