Pearle Gladys PEDERSON

BATAVIA - Pearle Gladys PEDERSON, 96, formerly of Batavia, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1992 at Ridgewood Care Center in Ottumwa.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Batavia with the Rev. David Nord of McCook, Neb., officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery. Visitation is open at Shrine of Memories Funeral Home in Ottumwa, where family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight. A memorial has been established.

Mrs. PEDERSON was born Jan. 8, 1896, at Letts, the daughter of John and Emma ADAMS TUCKER. She had taught school for 35 years and was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. She married John PEDERSON on Oct. 15, 1919. He died in 1972.

Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn NORTH of Agency; a son, Paul of Ottumwa; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
