Charles Robert REICHERT, 68, of Banning, Calif., former area resident, died at 1 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 1993, at San Gorgonio Hospital. A service was conducted Dec. 7 in California and the body was cremated.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Free Methodist Church in Fairfield with the Rev. George Koch officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
REICHERT was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Winnebago, Minn., the son of the Rev. George and Emma KOCH REICHERT. He graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College. On Oct. 6, 1951, he married Lorraine WAUGH CARDER, who died Oct. 13, 1955. He married Andronica WERCHOVSKY in 1964 in Chicago. She survives. REICHERT served in the U.S. Army World War II, and worked for Hart-Main Co. in Glendale, Calif., for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife; a brother, John, and a sister, Ruth HURLEY, both of Fairfield; and a stepson, Lowell K. CARDER of Greenfield, Wis. His parents and an infant sister preceded him in death.
