OBITUARY.

Editors Ledger:-- Hezekiah CASE was born in Montgomery county, Maryland, in September, 1807, was married to Ora Ann STEWART September, 1831, in Ohio, and removed to Iowa in March, 1853, living in Round Prairie township until his death, March 17th, 1890. His aged wife died in 1887, since which time he has resided with a daughter in Glasgow. Seven children, four sons and three daughters, survive him – William, Theodore, Augustus and Albert CASE, Mrs. David FELL, Mrs. S.B, TURNER and Mrs. Charles COX, all living in this county. All these children were with the father in his last illness and did all that loving hearts and willing hands could do to ease his suffering. He was patient throughout all the pain attending his long sickness, and, surrounded by the sorrowing family, passed away without a struggle. Mr. CASE walks no more among us, but in our hearts he will live forever. His children and grandchildren will miss his welcome smile and his vacant chair will never again be filled. Funeral services were held in Mt. Zion church by Rev. S. T. Horton. A large circle of friends paid a last tribute to this good man, and his remains were laid away by the side of his dear wife to await the resurrection morn.

[Admin. note: Wife 'Ora Ann' has also been found as Ara Anna, or Aryana (her obituary). Her maiden name can be found here as STEWART, and in her obituary as STUART. Consider spelling variations when researching this family.]
