At her home near Libertyville occurred, last Wednesday evening, the death of Mary, wife of Hugh SMITH. Mrs. SMITH had reached the advanced age of 73 years, and had long been a resident near Libertyville. Her last illness was of several months' duration. The remains were interred in the cemetery near the Greenup SMITH place.

LIBERTYVILLE -- On Wednesday, the 13th inst., at her residence in this place, occurred the death of Mrs. Mary SMITH, widow of Hugh SMITH. She was highly esteemed by all who knew her. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. M. Prewitt, of Fairfield. Her children have the sympathy of this community in their affliction. The remains were followed to the grave by a large ocncourse of sorrowing friends, and laid to rest in the Old Lebanon cemetery..... Wesley JOHNSON, on his return from the funeral of his sister, Mrs. SMITH, met with an accident; his horses took fright, and becoming unmanageable, upset the buggy, throwing both himself and wife out; the buggy was broken; Mrs. JOHNSON was not injured, and Mr. JOHNSON but slightly.
