BOYD Dies

IOWA CITY - Willard L. BOYD Sr., father of University of Iowa President Willard L. BOYD, died Wednesday night in Minneapolis, Minn.

BOYD, 89, was born in Batavia and reared in Fairfield. He was the first head of the University of Minnesota's school of veterinary medicine.
