Monday, Sept. 24, 1973Glenn COFFIN Dies In Idaho
Glenn H. COFFIN, 62, youngest son of Everett and Cora WATERS COFFIN, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Veterans Hospital in Boise, Idaho where he had been a patient the past two years.
COFFIN was born Feb. 5, 1911 and graduated from the Pleasant Plain High School in 1929. He was employed by farmers in the Jefferson and Washington county area before moving to Boise, Idaho. He served in the armed forces in World War II. May 3, 1958 he was married to Edith GILBERTSON of Boise who survives. He was employed in the Veterans Hospital there.
Surviving besides his wife are the following sisters and a brother: Mrs. Mildred MENDENHALL, Fairfield; Mrs. Mable IRVING of Minocqua, Wis.; Mrs. Bertha REINECKE, Tierra Amarilla, N.M.; Mrs. Edith PENCIL, Washington, Iowa and Earl COFFIN of Fairfield. He was preceded by one brother, Albert COFFIN.
Funeral services and burial will be held in Boise on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
