Mrs. Lucy WORKMAN, wife of George WORKMAN, died at Farragut, Iowa, Tuesday morning at three o’clock, from typhoid fever, and the remains were brought to this city for burial Tuesday night. Deceased was born and raised in this county. Her maiden name was KELTNER, a sister of H. B. KELTNER, of this city. A number of years ago she was married to Mr. WORKMAN and they afterwards removed to Farragut. She was an excellent woman and her death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The funeral was held at the home of R. M. Caviness this morning at seven o’clock. The remains were interred in the cemetery near Parsonsville (sic - Union Cemetery). Deceased was twenty-nine years old.
