"AN UNFORTUNATE LAD. Thursday last in this city occurred the death of Sammy Mullinix, a boy of fourteen or fifteen, who is well known throughout town as an industrious, hardworking lad. He also was an unfortunate youth, and his death has probably resulted from one of the mishaps which befell him. A year or more ago, while working in the Cedar coal mines he was run over by a coal car and suffered considerably from his hurt. This fall again he was thrown from a horse, received some serious contusions and had never fully recovered. A disease of the kidneys, finally affected him and caused his death. The funeral occurred in this city Saturday."
