Wilma M. JONES

Wilma M. JONES, 74, died at 5 a.m. today, Jan. 15, 1992, at Nelson Nursing Home.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 7 conducted by the Rev. Robert Gates. The body will be cremated and burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens at Lemont, Ill. A memorial has been established to Nelson Nursing Home Activity Fund.

Mrs. JONES was born May 22, 1917, in Salem, Ill., the daughter of Clarence and Ollie DONOHO LEININGER. She married Darrell F. JONES on Dec. 9, 1954, in Chicago. He died Dec. 31, 1975. She lived most of her life in Harvey, Ill., and 15 years in Seminole, Fla., moving to Fairfield in February 1888. A homemaker, she was a life member of Women of the Moose and Grandmothers Club of Illinois.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol NELSON of Fairfield, Jacquelun KERR of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; two sons, James LEE of Marietta, Ga., Gary LEE of Decatur, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel WIMBERLY of Salem, Ill., and Ioan MACIOCI of Escondido, Calif. Her parents and a sister, Heda HILL, preceded her in death.
