Martha Mae WOLFE GLAHA, 73, of Keosauqua, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at the home of her daughter Kimberly MASERANG in Bonaparte.
A funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Larry Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).
Visitation opens at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with family present from 4-5 p.m.
Memorials, to be designated later by the family, may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 707 Main St., Bonaparte 52620.
Mrs. GLAHA was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Mount Sterling the daughter of Leonard Kerle and Dorotha EVANS WOLFE. She married Harold Thomas GLAHA.
She graduated from Van Buren High School in May 1957.
She retired from Alaniz LLC in Mount Pleasant. Throughout her many career choices, the ones she loved the most were working at AJ's Bar and Grill in Mount Sterling and being on the baseball field.
Survivors include seven children, Kimberly MASERANG and spouse Tom of Bonaparte, Ted GLAHA and spouse Lisa of La Belle, Mo., Bill GLAHA and spouse Virginia of Englewood, Colo., Kevin GLAHA and spouse Cathy of Mount Pleasant, Trisha GLAHA SPRING of Burlington, Tracey BLANCHARD of Fort Madison and Mark GLAHA of New London; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Dean and Billy WOLFE.
