Betty J. FENN, 81, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013.
A celebration of life is at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, with the Rev. Troy Richmond officiating. Interment is at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Visitation begins at noon Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
A general memorial has been established.

Mrs. FENN was born Oct. 31, 1931 in Wapello County, the daughter of George and Mary KNECHT BROWN. She married Kenny FENN Sept. 1, 1956 in Fairfield.
She received her education in Fairfield.
She worked in Cedar Rapids and Fairfield.
The couple owned and operated Fenn Farm Service until retirement.
She enjoyed stock car racing, going fishing with her husband, embroidery and crafts.
Survivors include her children, Cathy FENN of Crawfordsville, Karen FENN of Washington, Iowa and Beth MIKELS of Houston, Mo.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; twin sister Barb BROWN and her brothers Bill BROWN and Gerald BROWN.
