Wednesday, June 27, 1973Death Takes Mrs. JOHNSON
Mrs. Eva JOHNSON, 76, native of Jefferson County, died at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Nursing Home where she had been a patient since April 23, 1972.
Funeral services have been tentatively set for 1 p.m. Friday at the Raymond Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Salina Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday to receive friends and relatives.
Eva ANDERSON was born Sept. 23, 1896, at Salina in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Anna ROSEQUIST ANDERSON. She was reared and educated in the Salina Community.
She was married to Raymond JOHNSON Jan. 21, 1921 at the New Sweden Parsonage. He died Dec. 18, 1968. The family home is at 303 E. Kirkwood. Mrs. ANDERSON was a member of the Lockridge Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Floyd, Ottumwa, and Lyle, Lockridge; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harper JAMES and Elsie ANDERSON, both of Fairfield; and a brother, Fred ANDERSON, Salina.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Viola.
