Death Takes Mrs. KENYON

PACKWOOD - Mrs. Roy E. KENYON, 82, Packwood, died at 5:30 a.m. today at the Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney where she was admitted Nov. 2. Until going to the hospital she had been a patient at the Manor House Care Center in Sigourney.

Last rites will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery.

Mrs. KENYON, the former Etta SYLVESTER, was born April 29, 1891, in Audubon County, the daughter of George and Mary STRETCHER SYLVESTER. She was reared and educated in Wapello County.

Her marriage to Roy E. KENYON took place Dec. 5, 1925, in Davenport. He died May 1, 1971.

Mrs. KENYON was a member of the Packwood Christian Church.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.
