Dorothy ADKINS

Dorothy ADKINS, 70, of Cedar Creek ResCare, died at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 1996, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Iowa City, IA).

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Visitation is open at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to Cedar Creek ResCare.

Miss ADKINS was born Feb. 25, 1926, in Fairfield, the daughter of Harry Tillman and Helen D. EHLERS ADKINS. She attended schools in Woodward. She worked in the "wards" and the laundry at Woodward State Hospital. In Fairfield, she was employed at the Tenco Sheltered Workshop.

She is survived by a sister, Helen ADKINS of Glenwood. Her parents preceded her in death.
