John "Jack" CAMPBELL, 59, former Fairfield resident, died Thursday at 8:24 p.m. at University Hospitals in Iowa City where he had been a patient for 17 days.
CAMPBELL resided in rural Yarmouth. He was a former employee of Parsons College and a former owner of the Ranch Motel here.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. William J. Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Prayers for a Christian Wake will be held Sunday at 7;30 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home. Family visitation will follow.
CAMPBELL was born Aug. 9, 1924 at Mount Union, the son of John Stanford and Martha TEBERG CAMPBELL. He was married to Bonnie Pearl CORNICK April 12, 1944.
Surviving are his mother, Martha CAMPBELL, Chicago; his wife and the following children: Michael CAMPBELL, Austin, Tex.; Patricia Ann RAPPENECKER, Burlington; and Pamela Jean BASQUIN, Sperry. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and one sister, Irene O'CONNOR, Chicago.
