Wednesday, July 25, 1979Henry RUBEY dies at 59
BRIGHTON - Henry M. RUBEY, 59, Route 2, Brighton, died Tuesday, 3:10 p.m., at Burlington Medical Center following surgery.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
He was born Jan. 18, 1920 in Jefferson County, he son of Charles H. and Ella A. TRAIL RUBEY Sr. On April 8, 1945 he married Darlene M. BENNETT. A World War II veteran, he owned and operated Rubey Grain in Brighton.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Sharon and Karen, both at home; his mother of Fairfield; two brothers, Carrol E. of Brighton, Charles H. RUBEY Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska; five sisters, Eloise NORTON, Oskaloosa, Enola RICHARDSON, Washington, Laura May LEU, Fairfield, Elsie Marie NEECE, Richland and Emma Lillian KURTZ, South English. His father preceded him in death.
