Mrs. Fred STALLMAN, 84, former resident of Fairfield, died at 6 p.m. Thursday at a hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. She had been hospitalized one week.
The body is being shipped to the Behner Funeral Home where services are pending.
Mrs. STALLMAN had made her home in Florida for the past 14 years. Two nephews, Floyd and John LYNN, both of Fairfield, are among the survivors.

Saturday, March 11, 1978STALLMAN Rites Set
Last rites for Mrs. Fred STALLMAN, 84, a Fairfield resident for many years, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
Mrs. STALLMAN died Thursday at a St. Petersburg, Fla., hospital where she had been a patient for one week. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Wayne Bartruff. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. STALLMAN moved to Florida from Fairfield about 15 years ago. The former Una Anna GERBIG, she was born Aug. 13, 1893 in southern Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Mary GERBIG.
She spent her early life in Mitchell County, Iowa. She was married to Dana DANFORTH, who died in 1918. On Aug. 16, 1922, she was married to W. Fred STALLMAN, coming to Fairfield that time to make her home.
Mrs. STALLMAN was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter and two brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Ruth GUYER, St. Petersburg, Fla. Also surviving are two granddaughters and two sisters, Ida KINNEY and Esther FOY, both of Staceyville, Iowa.
