Donna LANTZ

Donna Marie LANTZ, 56, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Urbandale.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue League or Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Online condolences can be shared at IlesCares.com.

Mrs. LANTZ was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Fairfield, the daughter of Charles Jr. and C. Loretta ZACHMEYER KELLER. She married Ricky Allan LANTZ Sept. 20, 1986.

The LANTZes made their home in Des Moines, and she was employed with Iowa National Guard for 27 years as a state transportation manager.

Mrs. LANTZ enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; mother; three stepchildren, Jeremy LANTZ and wife Beth, Melisa LANTZ and husband Rob, and Nichole BRIGHT and husband Johnie; six grandchildren; and three brothers, Steve KELLER, Bob KELLER and Kerry KELLER.

She was preceded in death by her father.
