William "Bill" Nelson STEELE, 90 of Lockridge, died Friday, June 7, 2013, at Park Place in Mount Pleasant.
A funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dianne Brokken and the Rev. Myron Hoffert officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Lockridge First Responders.

Mr. STEELE was born Oct. 31, 1922, in rural Packwood, the son of Frank and Erma NELSON STEELE. He married Agnes WOODBURN March 8, 1941, in Memphis Mo. She died April 3, 2004.
He lived in the Packwood area for 30 years and had lived in the Lockridge area for the last 60 years.
He was a lifetime farmer and enjoyed raising his Charolais cattle.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy STEELE MOTE of Mount Pleasant; two sons, Jerry STEELE and spouse Mary of Lockridge and Terry STEELE and spouse Kay of Fairfield; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Gary STEELE and Rex STEELE; his parents; and one sister, Marjorie.
