William 'Bill' F. FREYENBERGER

William "Bill" F. FREYENBERGER, 98, of Wayland, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

A celebration of life service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church in rural Wayland, with the Rev. Larry Evers officiating. Burial will follow at Eicher Cemetery (note: in Henry County, IA).

Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the church.

A memorial fund has been established for the church.

Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, is handling the arrangements.

Mr. FREYENBERGER was born May 15, 1915, in Henry County, Iowa the son of Elmer J. And (sic) Emma OSWALD FREYENBERGER. He married Julia ZIEGLOWSKY Sept. 1, 1938, at St. Paul Evangelical Church in Washington. She preceded him in death.

He farmed all of his life.

He was a member of the Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church where he served as a trustee for many years.

He was a founding board member of the Parkview Home board and also the Wayland Livestock Board.

He enjoyed farming, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and homemade ice cream.

Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn RUBEY and spouse Ralph of Stockport, and Doris AICHER and spouse Dean of Mount Pleasant; one son, Jim FREYENBERGER and spouse Denise of Wayland; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Myrtle GARDNER of Grand Rapids, Minn., Ruth GRABER of Wayland and Ina Mae EIGSTI of Hesston, Kan.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Edward FREYENBERGER; one granddaughter; and one great-
