WHEELER Rites Today

Last rites for Mrs. E.W. (Nellie G.) WHEELER, 74, were held today at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with Rev. Ned Gillum officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, with Behner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. WHEELER died early Sunday morning at the Jefferson County Hospital after an illness of six weeks.

She was born July 16, 1898 in Leland, Ill., the daughter of Lemuel and Carrie WILTSIE MINARD.

She was married on Dec. 21, 1950 to E.W. WHEELER. He died on March 18, 1971.

Mrs. WHEELER is survived by on daughter and one son, Mrs. W.R. STEPHENSON, Route 3, Fairfield and Charles F. BARNETT of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., three grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Lewis GARDINER of White Rock, British Columbia, Canada.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and one son.
