C.E. DOWNARD Dies At 91

Local friends have received belated word of the death of Claude E. DOWNARD, a 1909 Parsons graduate and former official of the college.

DOWNARD died April 25 in Santa Fe Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 91.

DOWNARD served as secretary to the president of Parsons College from 1909 to 1915. From 1914 to 1917 he also held the office of treasurer of the college.

DOWNARD was a veteran of World War I, serving in Hospital Unit R.
