Former Local Resident Dies

Harry Wilson MARDOCK of Gowanda, N.Y, died this morning according to word received here by his niece, Mrs. W.R. BRISTOW, 600 E. Burlington.

MARDOCK, who was born May 6, 1903, was a native of Jefferson County and lived here in his youth. Prior to his marriage to Ethel FULTON, daughter of the Avelo FULTONs, he also lived in Mount Pleasant and Ottumwa. After the marriage the pair lived in Fairfield before moving to New York.

He is survived by his wife of Gowanda; one son, Jim of California, and a sister, Mary PARKS of Ottumwa.

Funeral service is pending. Burial will be in Lambeth (sp - Lambirth) Cemetery east of Round Prairie Church.
