Harry BALDWIN Dies Suddenly

Harry BALDWIN, 88, retired Fairfield barber and longtime resident of the Fairfield community, died shortly after 10 a.m. today.

He took ill at his home, 202 W. Hempstead. He was taken to the emergency room at the Jefferson County hospital where he died shortly after his arrival.

The body is at the Raymond funeral Home where services are pending.

H. BALDWIN Rites Set

Funeral services for Harry BALDWIN, 88, retired Fairfield barber, will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

The Rev. Keith Lingwall will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BALDWIN died late Tuesday morning in the emergency room at the Jefferson County Hospital where he was taken after becoming ill at his home, 202 W. Hempstead.

A resident of Fairfield since 1916, he operated a barbershop in Fairfield for many years until he retired from the barber business.

Soon after he was named secretary of the Jefferson Savings and Loan Association and currently was serving as a member of its board of directors.

Harry BALDWIN was born March 5, 1889, in Hillsdale, Neb., the son of Benjamin Davis and Sarah May KERLEY BALDWIN.

He was married to Nora WARNER June 25, 1919, at the Lutheran Church in Fairfield. He was a life member of Walton Club.

In addition to his widow, BALDWIN is survived by one son, Harry Warner BALDWIN, Albuquerque, N.M., and three grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. George De VORE, Auburn, Neb., and Mrs. A. B. COCKERILL, Carson City, Nev.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF HARRY BALDWIN DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 13TH DAY OF JUNE, 1977 THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HARRY BALDWIN DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 2ND DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1971, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT HARRY W. BALDWIN WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
