Elsie Coy LAYMAN dies at 91

Elsie Coy LAYMAN, 91, former resident of the Libertyville community, died this morning at Nelson Nursing Home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville. Visitation will be from 8 t0 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund.

Mrs. LAYMAN was born Nov. 17, 1895 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Irvin and Emma Jane STEWART BOWERS, and lived her entire life in Jefferson County. She married Carroll LAYMAN June 14, 1917 at the home of her parents. He and one sister preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn P. SNAPP, Big Rapids, Mich.; four grandchildren; three great-grandsons and a sister, Jennie BOOTH, Fairfield.
