Keith Edward BURK, 79, of Fairfield died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at his home.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home.

Keith Edward BURK

Keith Edward BURK, 79, of Fairfield, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at his home.

The body has been cremated. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to Nathan Burk, PO Box 2301, Fairfield 52556.

Mr. BURKE (sic) was born April 2, 1934, in Fairfield, the son of Everett and Ferne BRUEY BURK. He married Shirley ESTLE. They later divorced.

Mr. BURKE (sic) graduated from Fairfield High School and was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. He was a mechanic for Danielson Motor, Parsons College and International.

He enjoyed going to the Hy-Vee coffee club, livestock auctions and working on lawnmowers.

Survivors include one son, Scott Douglas BURK of Fairfield; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gale BURK of Natchitoches, La., and Randy BURK of Knoxville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry BURK.

Keith Edward BURK, 79 of Fairfield, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at home.
