McCLELLAN Rites Set

Leonard McCLELLAN, 49, died Wednesday, 10:15 p.m., at Nelson Nursing Home. He had been in failing health the past year.

He was born Jan. 4, 1928 in Jefferson County, the son of Clarence J. and Freda F. TYGRET McCLELLAN. He lived his entire life in this community.

Surviving are three brothers, Robert L. of Rockford, Ill., and Loren G. and James L., both of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. John F. Wilken officiating. The body is at Behner Funeral Home.

Admin. note: The Social Security Death Index has him listed as Charles but his obituary refers to him as Leonard. A cemetery transcription provided to me lists him as Charles Leonard. He is buried in Lot 5th.105, the same lot as his brother Loren.
