Richard HINKLE

Richard HINKLE, 75, of 2501 W. Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, Ariz., died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001.

The body was cremated. A memorial service was held Oct. 4 at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Vogt officiating.

For family and friends in the Fairfield community, a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating.

The family requests no flowers and that memorials be made to the Lord's Cupboard in Fairfield.

Mr. HINKLE was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Earnest and Nettie ALLIMAN HINKLE. He married Marilyn HOSLER in 1952.

Mr. HINKLE lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation for 22 years. He also owned and operated R & M Sales in Fairfield. He retired to Wickenburg in 1983.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Brenda ABBOTT of Prescott, Ariz. and Sandra JORDON of Fayetteville, Ark.; three sons, Richard K. HINKLE of Mesa, Ariz., Chris A. HINKLE of Westlake, Ohio, and Kurt W. HINKLE of Queen Creek, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; one sister, Phyllis BAUM of Fairfield; and two brothers, Karl HINKLE of Eugene, Ore., and Earnest J. HINKLE of Birmingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Lydia.
