Services For Mrs. HOWELL

BRIGHTON - Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Berneice HOWELL of Washington, who died in her sleep at home April 10, were heldTuesday(err) afternoon at Jone (sic - Jones) Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Greg Berkey officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Brighton.

Mrs. HOWELL, 70, was born June 2, 1906 in Brighton, the daughter of Samuel M. and Lake WESTENHAVER CASSADY. She was reared and educated in Brighton. On June 6, 1928 she married Willis E. HOWELL at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He died Sept. 30, 1969.

Mrs. HOWELL, a teacher in Washington county and city schools, was a member of First Baptist Church in Washington, member of Order of Eastern Star and a past worthy high priestess of Damascus Shrine.

Survivors include one son, Ted HOWELL of Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Larry FEDERSON of Brighton and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial has been established for the Long Term Care until of Washington County Hospital.
