April 15, 1977Mrs. PECK Dies At 94
EAST PLEASANT PLAIN - Mrs. Rose PECK, 94, East Pleasant Plain, died at 4 a.m. today of heart failure in Waynesboro, Tenn., General Hospital where she had gone to visit a granddaughter.
The casket is scheduled to arrive at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton Saturday morning.
Services will be conducted at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The casket will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. Sunday for visitation and the Rosary will be recited at the church at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. PECK was honored at an Open House at her home in East Pleasant Plain Easter Weekend by members of her family.
Rose PECK was born Aug. 10, 1882, in Chicago, the daughter of August and Catherine KREGOSKI. The family moved to Jefferson County when she was a small child. She was married in 1900 to Paul T. PECK and they lived on a farm until 1946 when they moved to East Pleasant Plain. He died in 1950.
Since then she had made her home with her son, Bill.
Survivors include four sons, Vincent, Rock Island, Ill.; Robert, Indianapolis, Ind.; Joe and Bill of East Pleasant Plain; four daughters, Kasylda LAMANSKY, Brighton; Adeline DRISH, Brighton; Louise FORBES, Fairfield; and Laurine ARMETTA, Rock Island.
Other survivors include 52 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Anna HODGES, Davenport.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.
