JOHNSON Rites To Be Tuesday

Edward G. JOHNSON, 85, rural route 1, Lockridge, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Parkview Care Center where he had been a patient for the past seven months.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Lenwood Monte in charge. Burial will be in Upland Cemetery south of Lockridge.

Edward G. JOHNSON was born March 25, 1888, in Jefferson County, the son of Andrew J. and Matilda BREDINE JOHNSON. Engaged in farming, he spent his entire life in the Lockridge Community.

Survivors include two nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
