Orville Graham Jr.

Orville “Junior” F. GRAHAM Jr., 51 of Packwood died at 8:45 a.m. Jan. 12, 1988, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center, 1001 E. Pennsylvania, following a heart attack.

He was born April 4, 1936, in Packwood to Orville F. and Opal McBURNEY GRAHAM. He was a lifetime resident of the Abingdon and Packwood communities, and was employed at American Chain and Cable Company in Fairfield for 18 years. He was also involved in farming and custom rock hauling. He married Bonnie L. MARTIN April 19, 1952, in Fairfield.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Linda DOUD of Batavia; a son, Roger of Ottumwa; and four grandsons.

The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.

A memorial has been established.

Rites Saturday for GRAHAM

PACKWOOD - Services for Orville F. "Junior" GRAHAM, 51, Packwood, who died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.

GRAHAM was born April 4, 1936 at Packwood, the son of Orville F. and Opal McBURNEY GRAHAM, and lived his entire life in the Abingdon-Packwood community. He was employed at American Chain and Cable for 18 years and had farmed since 1974. He also did custom rock hauling. He married Bonnie L. MARTIN April 19, 1952 in Fairfield. She survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Linda DOUD of Batavia; a son, Roger of Ottumwa, and four grandsons. His parents and an infant brother preceded him in death.
