RITES PENDING FOR MRS. JONES.

Pleasant Plain, Ia.--Mrs. H. C. JONES, 87, died at 10:50 a. m. today at the Jefferson County hospital. She entered the hospital July 28 after being injured in a fall at her home west of Veo. The body is at the Raymond Funeral home. Arrangements are pending. Burial will be in Howard Grove cemetery west of Pleasant Plain.

Mrs. JONES was born Feb. 18, 1876, the daughter of Hart and Nancy WILLIAMS WICKOFF. She was reared and educated in the Brighton and Pleasant Plain communities. She was married to Harvey C. JONES Feb. 27, 1895. He preceded her in death in October, 1957. Mrs. JONES was a member of the Friends church. She is survived by the following children: Dale JONES, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. E. O. JOHNSON, Casa Grande, Ariz.; and Mrs. Doyle SCHMITTER, Bloomfield. Also surviving are six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Cary WICKOFF, Pleasant Plain and Mrs. Clifford NICHOLSON, Superior, Nebr. One brother and three sisters are deceased.
