Rosalie Ann CONNOR

Rosalie Ann CONNOR, 77, of Libertyville died Sunday, May 20, 2001, at her home in Libertyville.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Raphael-Nakos officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials to the Faith United Methodist Church or to Libertyville Elementary School Library.

Mrs. CONNOR was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Fairfield, the daughter of Lawrence and Clara SANDEN COLESON. She married Kenneth Dewey CONNOR Jan. 25, 1944, in Guthrie, Okla. He died Jan. 11, 1980.

She graduated from Fairfield High School with the class of 1941. She had lived most of her life in the Fairfield and Libertyville communities. She was a homemaker, a grocery store clerk at Samuelson's Store, a waitress at Samuelson's Cafe and worked at the Sweetheart Bakery and student center at Parsons College.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville; VFW Auxiliary; and a bingo player.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Jan CONNOR and wife Deb of Keosauqua and Kenneth Victor CONNOR and Bettye of Libertyville; one daughter, Jane Anne FISHEL and John of Fairfield; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchidren; and one sister, Betty LOGAN of Mount Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; one brother, Dutch COLESON; and two sisters, Verlin and Eloise.
