Blanche M. EMRY rite Monday

Blanche Myrtle EMRY, 91, 106 S. Fourth St., died at 11 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 1988, at her home.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home starting at noon Saturday. A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church.

Mrs. EMRY was born June 15, 1897, near Salina, the daughter of Elmer and Anna JACOBSON HOLLANDER. She grew up in the Salina community and east of Fairfield. She married Henderson EMRY March 22, 1916, at Pleasant Plain. They moved to Fairfield in 1936. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband; daughter, Virginia EMRY of Fairfield; two sisters, Geneva HOLLANDER of Fairfield and Bernice FOSTER of Gaithersburg, Md. A son, Wendell, four sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
