Joseph A. CLABORN

Joseph A. CLABORN, 73, of Milton died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at home.

The body has been cremated. A memorial service and interment of cremains will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Okla., at a later date.

Memorials to the family may be mailed to 1002 North Main St., Milton 52570.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting the family.

Mr. CLABORN was born Sept. 13, 1939, in Jackson County, Mo., the son of Jess and Bonnie McLINGIN CLABORN. He married Donna SHERL April 30, 1962. She died Dec. 4, 1986.

He grew up in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was an architectural draftsman until ill health caused his retirement.

He moved to Milton in 2004.

Survivors include one son, Tim CLABORN of Hominey, Okla.; three daughters, Therese RAWLINSON and spouse Doug of Bartlesville, Okla., Tammy ROY and spouse Todd of Tulsa, Okla., and Patricia GRAY and spouse Thadd of Milton; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, John NEWMAN of Sand Springs, Okla.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lloyd and David NEWMAN.
