Marsha Sue HANSHAW

Marsha Sue HANSHAW, 65, of Fairfield, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

A memorial has been established to First Baptist Church.

Ms. HANSHAW was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Fairfield, the daughter of Robert T. and Helen BATTIN ANGSTEAD.

She was a lifetime resident of Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1955.

She worked as secretary for Jefferson County Public Health until her retirement.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Jefferson County Hospice.

Survivors include her parents; two sons, Greg HANSHAW and his wife Julie of Fairfield and Scott HANSHAW and his wife Ann of Marietta, Ga.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles "Tony" ANGSTEAD, and one sister, Carla ANGSTEAD CUPP.
