Ross Wilson ANDERSON, 84, of Fairfield and formerly of Birmingham and Mount Pleasant, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. Colton Clay and the Rev. Jason Mott officiating. Interment will be in Pittsburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, Iowa.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established with a designation to be named later.

Mr. ANDERSON was born Aug. 13, 1928 in Birmingham, the son of Zachary and Verda SADLER ANDERSON. He married Hope SCOTTON April 17, 1949. She died in February 1984. He married Mary Ann ATKINSON MILLER Sept. 22, 1985. She died in July 1995.
He grew up in the Birmingham community and graduated from the Birmingham High School.
He was an electrician and tool and die maker at Louden Machinery Company in Fairfield for 46 years.
He was a charter member of the Birmingham Lions Club and was a member of the Father's Club.
He loved fishing, hunting, auctions and garage sales, card playing, old Western movies, the Hawkeyes and his family.
He was a member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church.
He lived in Mount Pleasant from 1986 until 2010 when he moved to Sunnybrook Assisted Living in Fairfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet BONNETT of Birmingham; one son, Roger ANDERSON and spouse Katherine of Washington, Iowa; one step-daughter Patricia KRUSE and spouse Edward of Hillsboro; one step-son, Michael D. MILLER and spouse Mary Jo of Burlington; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Florence LOUTH of Fairfield.
In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Letha Ann; one brother, Frederic ANDERSON; one sister, Margaret LOVEDY; a son-in-law, Michael BONNETT; a half-brother, Verle ANDERSON; and two half-sisters, Verda SHOTT and Helen LIND.
