Michael 'Mike' SIMONS

Michael "Mike" SIMONS, 46, of 504 E. Broadway Ave. died at 1:36 a.m. today, April 20, 1994, in the emergency room at Jefferson County Hospital.

He was born Jan. 17, 1948, in Fairfield, to Marshall M. and Nellie GARRISON SIMONS. He married Martha PAULEY on Nov. 4, 1967, in Fairfield.

SIMONS was employed by The Dexter Company, where he was a lead man for the past 27 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He lived his entire life in the Fairfield community. SIMONS was a member of Suburban Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; his mother of Fairfield; one daughter, Nichole, of Fairfield; one son, Mike of Fairfield; one brother, Marlin of Fairfield; two sisters, Marsha JOHNSON of Fairfield and Melissa WHEATON of Libertyville; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home, the Rev. Todd Follette officiating. Burial will be in Glasgow Cemetery at Glasgow.
