Lylah INGERSOLL dies at 86

Lylah INGERSOLL, 86, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 1988, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The body was cremated and a private memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery. Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established to the Fairfield Public Library.

Mrs. INGERSOLL was born March 12, 1902, in Illinois, the daughter of John H. and Georgia TATE MAGEE. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a retired employee of International Harvester. She married Wesley INGERSOLL in 1930. He died in 1936. A sister also preceded her in death.
