Elsie SWANSON rites Tuesday

Elsie Merle SWANSON, 88, 209 E. Grimes, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Nelson Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church.

Miss SWANSON was born Nov. 2, 1895 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Emil and Viola COX SWANSON, and lived most of her life in Jefferson County. She graduated from Fairfield High School and was a member of First Christian Church.

Surviving is a brother, Ernest of Knoxville. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death.
