Mrs. JOHNSON Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Fred C. JOHNSON, native of Jefferson County, died at 8 a.m. today at her home, 305 South B.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Dottie A. JOHNSON 81, was born April 22, 1891, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Carl and Manerva PARKS RUSSELL.

She was married June 26, 1912, to Fred C. JOHNSON at Ottumwa. A member of the First Christian Church, Mrs. JOHNSON spent her entire life in the Fairfield Community.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Manerva E. JOHNSON, Grosse Pointe, Michigan; and Dixie A. JOHNSON, Arlington Heights, Ill.

Mrs. JOHNS (sic - JOHNSON) was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
