Susan Florence SAMUELSON

Susan Florence SAMUELSON, age 63 of Fairfield passed away January 13, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Ia.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday January 18, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday January 17, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association. Memorials and cards can be sent to 1109 1/2 Liberty Dr. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Susan Florence SAMUELSON was born January 26, 1949 to James and Jane WILEY NORDSTROM in Iowa City. She married Gary Leonard SAMUELSON on July 21, 1982.

Susan was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking candy, traveling with husband Gary, the local coffee club, and visiting with family and friends.

Susan is survived by her husband: Gary SAMUELSON of Fairfield, 1 son: James (Page) SCOVEL of Mt. Union, 1 grandchild: Tristan SCOVEL, 2 Sisters: Dona PEARSON of Libertyville and Jane STEPHENSON of Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
