Cleda Fay ROBERSON (sic) JACK PERKOVICH

Cleda Fay ROBERTSON JACK PERKOVICH, 102, died, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Ottumwa.

The body has been cremated. A private family burial of cremains will be at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

Memorials to Maple Grove Cemetery Association in Cantril can be mailed to the family at 300 Spruce St., No. 217, Farmington, MN 55024.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. PERKOVICH was born July 3, 1910, near Lebanon, Iowa, the daughter of Charles H. and Almeda W. WATSON ROBERTSON. She married Howard B. JACK in 1930 in Mount Sterling, and they later divorced. She later married Anton F. PERKOVICH. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. PERKOVICH was a professional seamstress having trained at the Singer Sewing School in St. Paul, Minn. She enjoyed many hours at her sewing machine. She also was a telephone operator in her younger years, supporting herself and her children.

Survivors include three children: Karol Ann JACK JOHNSON of St. Louis, Dottie Jo JACK ANDERSON of Farmington, Minn., and Freddy Lee JACK and spouse Peggy of Bastrop, Texas; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings: O. C. ROBERTSON, Edith HULL, Wallace ROBERTSON, Ollive KAISER, Arta PEEL, Ray ROBERTSON, Georgia OWEN and Helen WALTON; two sons-in-law: Vern L. JOHNSON and Jerry W. ANDERSON; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
