Mrs. Clarence RODGERS, 85, 810 S. Second, died Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing Home where she had been a patient since Feb. 26, 1971.
Last rites will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Berg and the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mabel RODGERS was born May 31, 1887, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Jonas August and Mary Louise CARLSON AIN. She was reared and educated in Jefferson County.
Her marriage to Clarence E. RODGERS took place Dec. 21, 1910, in Fairfield. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 1967.
Mrs. Rodgers was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Degree of Honor.
She is survived by two sons, Ralph, LaPalma, Calif., and Merlyn, Fairfield; one daughter, Gwendolyn, Fairfield; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Russell AIN, Fairfield.
Mrs. RODGERS was preceded in death by two children in infancy and two brothers.

Admin. note: Buried in Lot Devotion A 144 - space 4. Husband Clarence is beside her in space 3. According to the cemetery's records she was interred on Friday, February 9, 1973.
